Meet Dr. Erin Tollefson

When it comes to dentistry, Dr. Erin Tollefson strives to “never treat a stranger”. She values building relationships through honest communication, respect, and kindness. To deliver quality dental care, Dr. Tollefson believes in helping patients feel comfortable and understood in a friendly and relaxed environment. She wants every patient to feel valued and leave the office feeling they have been treated like family!

After spending her early childhood growing up near Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Tollefson moved here to Eau Claire when she was 11 years old, where she would meet her future husband and then graduate from Memorial High School! After high school, Dr. Tollefson went on to get her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. However, shortly after graduating she realized her love of dentistry through a mission trip in Central America! That led Dr. Tollefson back to the University of Minnesota where she applied to dental school, was accepted, and four years later graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Tollefson and her husband have three energetic children, all boys 4 and under! They love to spend time together playing around the house, being on the water, and adjusting to life as a family of 5. They have always looked forward to raising their family in Eau Claire and learning more about everything this community has to offer.

Meet Dr. Joe Bartlett

Dr. Joe Bartlett’s philosophy is patient-centered and puts the patient’s needs first. Decisions are made by the patient with guidance and education from Dr. Bartlett. He makes it a goal to build lasting relationships and work as a team to help achieve the best outcome for each patient. Throughout the patient’s treatment plan, he strives to make each individual feel comfortable in the dental chair by doing so in a compassionate and anxiety-free environment.

Born and raised in Rothschild, Wisconsin, Dr. Bartlett graduated from D.C. Everest High School. He has deep roots in Eau Claire where he pursued his undergraduate education and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He then attended LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine. He has worked closely with several communities and volunteered services in many Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and Day of Hope events throughout his education.

Dr. Bartlett is married to his high school sweetheart and they are both excited to be back in Eau Claire to serve and be part of the community where they have close ties. He spends most of his free time trap/target shooting, fishing, devoting time to family, and being active outdoors.

PRACTICE Manager

Hello! I’m Eden. My husband and I relocated from Upper Michigan and are thrilled to call Eau Claire our home! We love staying active and enjoying the great outdoors, so you’ll often find us at sporting events, camping, running, or most importantly spending quality time with family. We also have a mini Golden named Garth who is a cherished part of our family. With about six years of experience in the dental field, I'm excited to be a part of the amazing team at Valley Edge Dental. We’re dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our patients. I look forward to meeting you and ensuring you leave with a smile!

Nicole

Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Nicole! I have been in the dental world since 2015, first as a dental assistant and now as a dental hygienist. I absolutely love being part of the Valley Edge Family! When I am not in the office, I thrive being outdoors with my husband and our blue heeler Klyde. Whether I’m out for a run or walk with my dog, hunting, canoeing, boating, fishing, camping you’ll find me soaking up nature. When we’re not exploring, I enjoy downtime with family and friends, cooking, or even diving into a good book. Can’t wait for you to become a part of the Valley Edge Family!

Dental Hygienist

Hello, I’m Alyssa! I’ve been a dental hygienist since 2013. My goal is to help every patient feel comfortable, understood, and cared for during their visit. I love getting to know my patients and building genuine connections that make coming to the dentist a little easier. I’m grateful to be part of such a kind, supportive team that works together to create a positive experience for all our patients. Outside of the office, I enjoy exploring new destinations, trying new crafting projects, and spending time with my husband and our Boston Terrier, Marty.

Lead Dental Assistant

Hi I am Katie, I have been a dedicated dental assistant for over three years after a long passion for the dental field, I’m passionate about creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. I am proud to be part of a team that helps people feel confident about their smiles, and I’m always eager to learn new techniques. Outside the office, I love weightlifting and golfing, I also enjoy traveling with my fiancé and being with family and friends! I can’t wait to meet you!

Mckenna

Dental Assistant

Hello! My name is Mckenna and I grew up in Chippewa Falls. I first embarked on my dental career in the beautiful state of Alaska, where I developed a passion for patient care while enjoying everything the state has to offer. Alongside my work in dentistry, I have a unique background in the equine industry. I own and operate High Peak Equine, an Equine Therapy and Bodywork business that allows me to combine my love for horses with my interest in their wellness. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, being with my family and my boyfriend, Andrew, and with my two dogs, Chaco and Lilo. I'm also a big fan of starting the day with a good cup of coffee! I truly love working with this amazing team and providing the best care to all of our patients!

Hi, I’m Emilee! I have been working in dental since 2021 and love the patient focused aspect of this field. I’ve worked with Dr.Joe and Dr.Erin my entire dental career; their drive to deliver the best care for patients has always kept me excited to work with them each day! My true love for the dental field comes from the ability to focus on each patient’s needs and goals, I have always enjoyed being able to care for the individual person! I’ve called the Eau Claire area home my whole life and feel blessed to have much of my family in the area as well. I love spending my free time with close family, reading books, roller blading, and fishing with my husband. I am incredibly excited to be working with such a caring team here at Valley Edge Dental and cannot wait to continue the journey!

Hi I’m Allie, I grew up in Eau Claire and my husband and I have 2 dogs. A border collie named Milo and a golden retriever named Harley. We enjoy hiking with our dogs, camping and spending time on our boat and four wheeling. I have been dental assisting since 2016 and I really enjoy building relationships with our patients and making sure you are comfortable and understand your treatment needs. I am excited to be a part of Valley Edge Dental team and can’t wait to meet you!

Hello! I’m Karsyn and I am from Eleva, Wisconsin. This is my first position in the dental field and am excited to learn and grow in this new role. I’m happy to be apart of the Valley Edge Dental team. When I’m not working, you can most likely find me hanging out with my puppy, Murphy, baking, or binging reality TV. I also love traveling and checking out new places whenever I get the chance. I look forward to meeting you!

Patient Care Coordinator

Hello! My name is Megan and I was born and raised in Eau Claire. I recently joined Valley Edge Dental as a dental receptionist, and I'm so excited to be part of such a friendly and welcoming team. I enjoy creating a positive first impression for every patient and helping make their visits as smooth and comfortable as possible. When I'm not at the office, I'm hanging out with my two Australian Shepherds (Hazel and Blue), my boyfriend, and our bearded dragon, Bumpy. I also love crafting and being outdoors-whether I'm going for a walk with the dogs, golfing, fishing, or out on the boat. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Valley Edge Dental family!
