Dental crowns are often the best way to treat a damaged or decayed tooth. Typically made of porcelain, a crown is a hollow tooth that is built to fit over the damaged tooth, completely covering it up all the way down to the gum line.
This provides excellent protection, preventing further complications and damage to the tooth. Porcelain crowns also look and feel very realistic, so they restore your natural smile and bite, too. Contact us now to schedule a consultation and see if a crown is right for you.
With advanced CEREC technology, we can create your crown on the same exact day, no uncomfortable temporaries necessary!
We can do all kinds of custom characterizations so that the crown we make for you looks nearly identical to the surrounding teeth! Here is an example that we did in our office: (crown is on the very far right)
Fillings are a great option for restoring decayed teeth and preventing further damage, as well as complications like tooth infections.

Crowns usually have a lifespan of between 10-20 years, but can easily last longer. Maintain good oral hygiene and see us for a teeth cleaning and oral exam every six months to keep your crown in good shape.
Crowns don’t hurt at all. Your mouth will be numb during the treatment process, so you will feel no pain or discomfort. Your tooth may feel tender for a few days, but it will feel completely normal once your permanent crown has been placed.
No temporaries, no extra appointments. We craft your crown right here in our office so you can walk out with a completely restored tooth.
Once the tooth is properly shaped, we take a precise digital scan using our advanced intraoral scanner. This scan captures every detail needed to craft your custom crown.
Using CAD software, our team will carefully design your new crown for a comfortable fit and natural look. We then craft the design in our in-office mill, which carves the crown from a durable, tooth colored material. After milling, the crown is sintered in a high-temperature oven to strengthen and finalize it.
We’ll place the finished crown, make any needed adjustments for a seamless fit, and then cement it securely in place. The entire process is completed in a single visit, no temporary crowns or follow-up appointments needed.
